Hello friends!  Can you believe we're beginning a new year already? It seems like we just started 2016 and now we're on to 2017! Is it just me or does time seem to be speeding up?

There are so many things that I love about a new year such as fresh starts and setting new goals. In fact, one of my goals this year is to begin blogging. I'll be honest....I'm not real tech savvy....so blogging kind of scares me. However, my talented son, Caleb, helped me design this site while he was home this Christmas. SOOO....no more procrastinating for me! I'm taking the plunge into blogging! 

I really hope to inspire you this year with decor ideas, but also with simple bits of encouragement that give you hope throughout the year.  I don't claim to know everything.  I'm just an ordinary wife, mom and friend who loves to decorate. I will share my passion and we'll learn together! Feel free to grab a cup of coffee/tea while you read through! Thank you for joining me on this journey. :-)

Another one of my goals is to keep things simple as we transition into a new year.  Simplicity in decorating is my love language! Here are some pictures of the simple style that I've got going right now.  I know these spaces will change as the days and seasons progress...but right now...I'm craving a simple and clean look.
